The Adelaide Rally Street Party is bringing its Street Party to King William Road for the first time ever... and you’re invited! The popular free community switches from Gouger Street to King William Road on the evening of Saturday October 17.

The 400-plus rally field will be on display with a DJ and outdoor dining along the precinct. The street party is being held onKing William Road between Arthur Street and Jasper Street.

Temporary road closures and parking changes

To aid preparations and provide a safe environment for this event, there will be temporary changes to traffic access and parking arrangements.

Setup Times: 1:30pm– 8:30pm

The Adelaide Rally Street Party features the entire rally field on display, featuring classic, rare and exotic cars, live music and extended outdoor dining along the restaurant strip.

Some of the 1200 participants in the Rally Field will dine in restaurants and shop along the strip and organisers encourage neighbouring residents and business owners to check out the cars and enjoy Saturday night shopping, drinks or dinner with a difference.

Expected attendance is 3000 people.

Temporary Road Closures

‍

From 1:30pm until 8:30pm on Saturday 17 October 2026, temporary road closures will be in place with no parking permitted at the following locations:

• King William Road - Immediately south of Arthur Street to the intersection with Jasper Street.

• Thomas Street and Bloomsbury Street - between the intersection with King William Road and 40 metres into these streets.

• Boffa Street - between King William Road and the eastern boundary of Boffa Lane.

• Opey Avenue - between the intersection with King William Road and 50 metres into this street.

• Park Street - between King William Road and 50 metres into the street.

• Mitchell Street - between King William Road and the eastern boundary of Walter Place.

Temporary Parking Restrictions

On Saturday 17 October 2026:

Temporary No Parking restrictions will be in place along King William Road, between the following times:

• From 5:30am to 8:30pm - King William Road between Arthur St to Opey Ave, and Park St to Jasper St.

• From 10:30am to 8:30pm - King William Road between Opey Ave to Park St
