Ex Animo Art invites you to experience Sprezzatura, a new exhibition by acclaimed Adelaide artist Gino Campagnaro. This vibrant new collection celebrates Italian charm, coastal light, and the effortless elegance of Mediterranean life.

Inspired by the romance of the Amalfi Coast and the refined atmosphere of Lake Como, Campagnaro’s latest works capture the essence of sprezzatura, that uniquely Italian gift for grace without effort. Through luminous colour and fluid movement, each painting evokes the warmth of summer light, the hum of conversation on sunlit terraces, and the unhurried rhythm of days by the sea.

Alongside Campagnaro’s new collection, sculptor Anthony Smerdon presents a striking work that embodies the Italian art of Sprezzatura. Effortless elegance expressed through a fusion of classical and contemporary design, his sculpture features a stripped-down classical colonnade embedded within a minimalist modern form, capturing harmony, balance and timeless sophistication.

11:00 am to 12:30 pm
Return the following morning for a relaxed gathering with Gino Campagnaro in attendance. Enjoy espresso or gelato from the cart outside the gallery while the artist shares stories from his studio and insights into his creative process.
